Pleasant stay in September

Stayed for a week in early September. About 15 minute taxi ride away from ferry port at Ermopoulis, approx 15-20 euros, cost seems to vary between these points. The hotel is built into a rock and if you are unlucky to be allocated one of the further away rooms, it is two separate elevators to get there. We originally were assigned almost one of the further rooms away from the main hotel and pool area, and the management kindly relocated us to a much more convenient room on the first day with no problem. This room (located in L block) had a good view of the pool area and the beach, from the balcony. The balcony is in the shade from mid-morning onwards. The room itself was large and clean, but felt a little dated. However, it was very clean and the bathroom had a bath with over-shower, which was clean and good hot water. The room was well equipped with fridge, tv and tea and coffee making facilities. The pool is very pleasant, a large pool, great for swimming in, with a small area to one side for a children's water slide. You can get pool towels as often as you want from the poolside area. The big plus for the hotel is you are literally on the beach (right by the pool area) and the waters are very shallow for many metres out. At first we thought the town of Galissas would be quiet, but there was a good choice of bars and restaurants, including on the beach, to choose from, plus minimarkets and a pharmacy. We had a day out in the next bay round, called Kini, which is a worth a visit. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant except for breakfast, but only because we wanted to explore a bit. The breakfast was adequate, perhaps more for continental than British taste, but here was plenty of choice and some cooked options. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Great family place in super location

We had a great stay at the rooms with breathtaking vista on the hill and nice pool with slide, perfect for small kids. 5 stars also to the kind staff of the reception, always ready to help. The resort is steps away from the beach and local restaurants. You have everything. Breakfast could be improved though. Fresh juice would be a nice plus.

Great family hotel

Staying there as a family with two kids was great. The hotel facilities, the room, the restaurants, and the pool with a fun slide are all in great shape. We really liked the great and very helpful staff at the hotel. Next door there is a clean and sandy beach, which has been awarded the blue flag label. The hotel lends itself to a relaxing and rewarding family holiday, where everybody finds something relaxing and/or interesting to do, and you come back with your batteries reloaded.

Everything is great, but they do not have Wi-Fi

....and when I say that they do not have WiFi, I don't mean that they do not have *free* WiFi and that you have to pay for it: I mean that they DO NOT HAVE WI-FI, period. The only available network is in the lobby, the restaurant etc, but COME ON! It is 2022, I cannot even begin to comprehend the fact that they do not have WiFi in the rooms. This is unacceptable. And what's worse is that there is not reception in the rooms, so we couldn't use our data either. The signal is really weak, so this makes t even more imperative that the hotel provides internet connection via WiFi. If you manage to move past this barbaric reality, the hotel is beautiful and quite decent. Beautiful little white Cycladic houses, green and flowers all around you, a sandy beach right in front of you. The breakfast buffet was more than enough, with a variety of foods to choose from.
