Quaint little place with a lovely atmosphere
Went here with my mum in early July 2017, and we really enjoyed our stay! The staff didn't speak English too well, but were very forthcoming and helpful. The room was cleaned every day - and very well at that. We spent €5 per day for air conditioning, and it was definitely worth it. The room was spacious with a big wardrobe, and a nice bathroom; there was a tv in the room - but we honestly never used it. Our balcony was facing the hillside on the back, and let me say - for the two of us it was optimal. We didn't get the afternoon-sun, but it was still super warm out there, and we also avoided the humdrum of the road that your balcony will face on the front of the hotel. The beds were a bit to hard for my liking, and the pillow a bit too flat, but I can't complain too much. A lot of people on here complain about the breakfast being too simple with "only white bread and jam", but you can cross the street in 1 minute to buy other foods which you can absolutely enjoy with the ~100% free~ breakfast you are provided. Over all I'd say you definitely get what you pay for, it's a great place to have as a base for exploring the wonderful Kardamyli.
For our Honeymoon we decided to visit Kardamili and stay once again in Patriarcheas Hotel. We were delighted to find out that the owner Panagiotis read our previous review and improved what we consider an excellent value hotel. The room was very clean as always, but we found some improvements: 1) The room was equipped with a Flat HD TV with lots of digital channels, including international news networks. In our last visit there was a small classic tv with few local channels. 2) The shutters of our balcony where completely new, with double glass with air in between to reduce noise and heat coming from the outside. I did not hear any trucks this time!!! The hotel has free parking. It is very well located. Congratulations to Patriarcheas Hotel. We will return on our next visit to Kardamili!!!
Authentic and charming hotel
Me and my family of four recently spent 10 days in Hotel Patriarcheas in Kardamili. We have been to Kardamili several times before, but never stayed at this hotel. The staff does not speak a lot of English, but are still very welcoming and charming. The hotel itself has a great atmosphere, and a great location - right across the street from the supermarked, and just a short walk from the middle of Kardamili as well as the main beach. The backyard where the breakfast is served is lovely, and the rooms are clean and with all facilities necessary (fridge w/ freezer, aircondition etc.). We will definitely be going back to this hotel next time we visit Kardamili - would recommend it to anybody who want an authentic greek experience.
Excellent value for a good price
Confortable rooms with air conditioner, fridge, free wifi and breakfast. The room was very clean. The fridge and conditioner worked normally. The TV was small, but we did no use it much. The location is very good. In front of the hotel is a small supermarket, Free parking. Excellent value.
If you want to live your myth in this magnificent place, this is the hotel you must choose. Very quiet place, not luxurious but who needs luxury staying in a place like Kardamyli with the history and the nature that define it .Mr Panagiotis the owner is a great guy, a classical sample of the local people. The rooms are big and the view is something else. The garden is full of any kind of flowers and will offer you lots of moments of relaxation. The price of the rooms is really small.I recommend it to all those who travel not just to spend their time of holidays smomewhere else , but to discover new places , cultures and live in pure nature far from the ordinary.Visit Kardamyli.Take a look at the "Hotel Patriarcheas".
