Absolut inte 5 stjärning, rörigt, stökigt, smutsigt, söndrigt. Avsaknad av glas på rummet, även på toa. Ostädat under säng Myggnät sönder. Väldigt hög ljudvolym i matsal Smutsiga hissar Söndriga solstolar Märklig planering av område och byggnader. Kommer aldrig mer att välja detta hotell.

Kryp, smuts och illaluktande barer. Två tillfällen hade vi kackerlackor och ett tillfälle myror. Hotellets bar luktade avföring, låsen till de offentliga toaletterna är trasiga samt poolområdet var fullt av plastglas och matrester större delen av tiden. Personalen är trött och oengagerad med en handfull trevlig personal som sticker ut. Inte att rekommendera, tyvärr.
Lack of attention to detail makes this more 3-star than 5.
Very disappointed, not the 5-star experience represented by the exterior/foyer, or by the price we'd paid. Online photographs are extremely deceptive; the pools are a different layout, food more depicts the a la carte (which has to be reserved immediately for the slightest chance of securing a slot and for which drinks were a pricey addition), and the bedrooms are not dressed as shown but only have basic furniture and bedding. There is some lovely planting but this is overshadowed by weeds, wasteland, rubble, overgrown paths and discarded rubbish. Leaking pipes, broken lights and one broken lift contribute to a poor impression of what should be daily maintenance. (Some attempts to address flowerbeds were evident on our last day, however there is no way of knowing how extensive efforts were and, regardless, it should have been completed prior to opening for the season). Shower is a bath attachment with lukewarm water (not ideal on a cool day). Yes, drain smells are frequent but this is potentially due to other guests not observing sanitary guidance. Mosquito mesh had huge gaps where it had become detached from balcony door and there was a gap under room door, meaning we got bitten overnight. Bedroom and balcony floors were grubby and hairy even after room clean. Pillow case was torn. It should be said though the sea-view balcony was a positive highlight. Main dining area is huge with plenty of food choice (typically repetitive as any AI, but nonetheless very good), however this also means it gets noisy, busy and can become a free-for-all. This aside, staff there worked tirelessly to maintain a good level of attentive service. Sometimes cutlery was missing but staff would always assist quickly if asked. Would have liked uncovered/quieter eating areas for couples but that's just personal preference. Small gripe for me was instant coffee at breakfast instead of fresh - not offensive but also not very 5 star. In this respect tea-making facilities in our room would have been a good inclusion. This leads on to extras .. having to pay for the lounge bar, a room safe and a la carte drinks feels contradictory to how the resort is portrayed - we only ordered a la carte drinks to fill waiting time (we had to wait 20 minutes before a waiter even came to our table let alone food arrival). Bar drinks elsewhere on site were typical AI - syrup cocktails and watered down beer/wine, but plentiful and readily available. Sadly we found all upper bar staff (except one) to be unfriendly, despite best efforts. Local information is severely lacking in the hotel (unless you have a rep, we didn't) and we were misdirected about buses, finding out what we needed to know by popping into Tui reception instead. This is not acceptable for an establishment catering to a diverse international audience, especially given the location. Entertainment wasn't to our taste, but others seemed to enjoy and we appreciate this is an important part of the package for some. Having stayed in other Greek accommodation this is more akin to a 3-star establishment. There is potential for better but the lack of attention to detail and focus on large intakes of groups/families make achieving a 5-star service an impossibility. We would have been fine staying here if booked as a 3 star, it resembled previous family holidays, however we specifically saved up and paid a 5-star price-tag to celebrate a special occasion as a couple. To say we felt let down by the resort and tour operator as a result is an understatement.
Week away with my boy
Just returned from a week here which overall me and my boy enjoyed. We stayed in one of the swimup rooms (3005) which was ok but not private and we could hear alot of other guests! Food and drink was overall very good but abit repetitive and the bacon needs cooking more! Due to the temperature I would recommend investing in changing one of the pools so it's heated. We also couldn't find the gym which is advertised on the website and I would also recommend a games room with pool tables for example! The beach is lovely and a short walk from the resort but it's very rocky with no sand. I would recommend hiring a car if you stay here as there's no where to visit in walking distance, we used taxis a couple of times. My boy who is 15 wasn't interested in the evening entertainment so we didn't bother with that but needs improving to satisfy all ages. When we checked out we wasn't asked if we enjoyed our stay...why?? Little things like this make a difference! Overall we enjoyed our stay but won't be returning.
Wonderful family holiday
We had an amazing service at Lindos royal hotel., in Rhodes, Greece. The stuff was really polite and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the view is amazing. The food was delicious. We had a chance to taste Greek cuisine too. Definitely we will come back again next time. We would like to thank one of the hotel manager Valasia who helped us a lot very kind lady.
