Best Hotel and restaurant of Albania

Excellent food , with surprisingly good combination of products. Super friendly staff and last but not least: best hotel of Albania, with all the facilities you need for a relaxed holiday The hotel definitely deserves 5 ***** and we will come back :-)

Not a five star hotel and no spa

This is not a five star hotel, maximum four stars. We had a deluxe room with balcony and oceanview but when we arrived the room had only one big bed and a desk with TV etc., we had to ask the reception for two chairs and a table. We did get two balcony chairs and a rusty table from the staff, but you expect a fully equipped room in a five star hotel. The breakfast was avarage, no bread with grain or cereals, only white bread, no toaster, only condensed milk,no fresh milk. They played really loud music every morning and we had to ask the staff to turn it down, it was very disturbing. On the positive side the staff was very helpful and the room was very quiet and clean, the beach in front of the hotel is also very nice. The food in the restaurant by the pool was also very good, would recomend to have only breakfast included since the guests who had all inclusive stay had to eat it the restaurant in the basement. The hotel should also arrange trips to other cities and places since there is no bus connection and to go by taxi is pretty expensive, we asked to go to Durres and the price was EUR 50, a bit on the high side. This is also a typical family hotel, not very suited for adult couples. We will probably choose a different place next time.

One of the best trips and hotels so far

Everything was cool, staff were excellent and the food is very good. The cleaning lady cleaned our room everyday and changed the towels. This indicates that you guys really keep the bar on highest level.

There is no spa. Hotel is good otherwise apart from a couple of service staff

Hotel is good - rooms and bathrooms are all nice. However don’t go thinking there’s a spa. As there isn’t. And seemingly won’t ever be (despite staff saying it just hasn’t been built yet but will be) as there’s no space anywhere for one. Service staff were generally nice, welcoming and helpful. However when having dinner at the poolside restaurant, two waiting staff behaved poorly when dealing with an issue. Two medium-rare steaks were ordered, and two medium-well done steaks were brought out. Having cut in to the steak and tried it, and then cut in to the middle of the steak to open it up and check its colour, I asked the waiter if another could be made. Instead of doing this, two separate waiters argued with me about it saying I’d eaten some so could have a new one, despite agreeing that it clearly wasn’t medium-rare. After leaving the rest of the steak and waiting for them to return with a new one (the waiter left to see what the kitchen could do eventually), nobody returned to the table for over 20 minutes, my friends all finished their food, and I had to flag the same waiter down again. Once again he argued with me and I had to resort to refusing to pay for the steak I hadn’t eaten. He said there was no way I was getting a replacement and eventually took the steak off the bill. Very poorly dealt with - I’ve never had waiting staff argue over something they agree with like this. Very disappointed. All other staff we dealt with, particularly the female staff, were fantastic however.

Amazing

Amazing hotel , every dish is so delicious and curated to details. Hygiene is 10/10 too. Sun-beds at the beach are clean and comfy. Service is really fast and staff is so kind and helpful. Definitely recommend !
