Lugnt och fint hotell med trevlig personal

Vi var tillsammans med vår 1 åring på besök för jobb i området och bodde då här. Fint och lugnt hotell med mycket tyska pensionärer som besökare. Väldigt kontinental och tråkig frukost för att vara ett 4-stjärnigt hotell, annars väldigt bra!

Beautiful location, great service, food and drinks.

Stopped for a late lunch on a drive from Zafaraya to Torre Del Mar. The hotel is located in a secluded area, surrounded by orchards and beautifully manicured gardens. We sat out on the terrace overlooking La Vinuela. Very peaceful setting. The menu is contemporary Andalucian with a wide variety of dishes. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food beautifully presented and delicious. When the bill came, we were pleasantly surprised, as very good value, considering the surroundings, service and quality of food and drinks. Had a coffee and relaxed in the conservatory/sun room after lunch.

Couples short break

Such a beautiful hotel and setting. Food and the outside terrace are wonderful. The hotel rooms are stunning, as is the pool area. Just a couple of changes would make this five star for us. We booked this on the basis of being active during the day but unfortunately the reservoir was very dry, so no boats, paddle boards or bikes to hire locally. Everything was closed including the bar and restaurant about ten mins away. The trails are difficult to find and we struggled to get local info from reception. Once you know simple things ie about the village, how to access the lake and the hire car on site, then it makes life more interesting, but as I say reception staff are not that clued up on the facilities and do not attempt to explain local information on arrival. If you like a remote setting with beautiful food, then this is the place for you.

Fantastic place to relax

We have been coming here for the last 20 years and never disappoints.. such a beautiful hotel in wonderful surroundings.. Beautiful rooms with fabulous views.. The restaurant and food delicious.. But most of all the staff are fantastic from reception to waiting staff (especially the waiting staff) they all make you so welcome.. missing you all already.. Wonderful, relaxing hotel

We booked for one night for our Wedding Anniversary but when we arrived we were so impressed that we stayed for two nights. We had a lake view room with balcony and had a lovely view of the beautiful sunsets. Every member of staff was helpful and pleasant during our stay. The pool area is lovely and well served with beds & sun brollies. Dining on the terrace was great and the food can only be describe as excellent as was the service. We will most definitely return to this wonderful relaxing hotel.
