Un buon quattro stelle

Innanzitutto precisare che l'hotel non ha le caratteristiche del 5 stelle, soprattutto per le pulizie iniziali (presenza di capelli appena preso possesso della camera) e anche qualche aggiustatina in bagno non guasterebbe (coperchio del water difettoso); poi in realtà le pulizie quotidiane hanno funzionato, caffè, te' e acqua sempre riforniti; camera al quinto piano silenziosa ma quelli dei piani inferiori potrebbero risentire del bar al pian terreno aperto fino a tardi Personale gentile, posizione buona a sei/sette minuti dalla metro Joaan della Gold Line Per il prezzo di 50 euro a notte vale decisamente

Do not book - unless you want to have a disco in your room

Please do not book this hotel at any cost, the hotel is not a 5 star hotel as advertised. We wanted a nice relaxing weekend trip to Doha and ended up having a room next to the disco. I thought the room was about to fall apart at one point. The rooms in floor 1 and 3 were close to the discount as I was told and these rooms are very noisy. I couldnt sleep as the room was vibrating. I tried to ask the staff to change rooms but they said theyre over booked and they would try to give me a better room the next day. Funnily enough we requested for a quiet room, and they gave us the nosiest room. Staff was unhelpful plus the room was not cleaned very well. Not liking the stay at all.

A 3/4 star hotel that stinks if smoke and needs refurbishing

Firstly this is not a 5 star hotel despite its claims. It is at most a low 4 star possibly even a good 3 star. The positives. Rooms are large and majority of staff are friendly and helpful. The pool on the roof is good. The negatives. Rooms are dirty and not cleaned properly. When I arrived there was used soap and tissues at the side of the bath from the previous occupants. I removed these after 2 days as housekeeping hadn't. The carpet in the room was dirty, stained and stank of stale cigarette smoke. The whole hotel is in need of refurbishment as everywhere stinks of cigarette smoke, the rooms, reception, the corridors. We even saw staff smoking where there were signs saying no smoking. When we asked they go outside they refused. The hotel know this as they've got the biggest air freshner units I've ever seen (think the size of a desktop computer) pumping out air freshner 24/7 everywhere. So if you are asthmatic if the smoke doesn't make you ill the air freshners will. You can't even escape the stench in the rooms as the windows don't open to let fresh air in and the air conditioning clearly hasn't been cleaned as that too pumps out stale cigarette smoke. It's a shame as this could be a really nice hotel, but it needs all the carpets and furnishings ripping out and replacing with clean ones rather than trying to disguise it with air freshner all the time.

Bad experience

I received bad treatment from the receptionist and my reservation was canceled after I arrived at the hotel after long and tiring hours, as my trip by car was long, and despite my informing them and communicating with the hotel at the time of my arrival, and after my arrival at the hotel, as a tired guest and with my family, I was surprised that the reservation was canceled and they wanted me to make another reservation at a high room price. About what I actually booked, I will not repeat the experience with you again, and I can sum up my words and my evaluation of this hotel as bad in terms of treatment.
