Bel hôtel bien placé, à retenir
Une très bonne atmosphère dans cet hôtel. Les chambres sont très propre , la deco contemporaine et récente. Le must : le roof top au sixième étage qui vaut le détour pour son point de vue et ses cocktails. Pas de formule all inclusive , service à la table , c’est parfait . La nourriture est bonne et c’est cusiné devant vos yeux .Pas de défilé d’anglais torses nus pour exhiber leurs tatouages . Piscine calme , pas de musique assourdissante.Point négatif mais ils ne peuvent rien , c’est l’hôtel abandonné à proximité
Wonderful stay
I have just returned from five days stay at this hotel. The whole experience was so very good. The hotel was always clean and tidy. They concentrate on guests having a relaxing, mindful & environmentally friendly stay. Staff were all very friendly, with a special shout out to Florence on reception. On our last day we had to leave before breakfast started, Florence arranged for us to collect a breakfast picnic to eat on the bus to the airport. The resort itself is very small but enough bars and restaurants for our short break. I will definitely return to this hotel
Excellent
Just back from our sixth time from the hotel it just gets better and better a big shout out to all the staff especially Fernando and Sabrina in the dining room and not forgetting Bianca on the front desk who as usual amazing see you all soon from Scott and Shona
Second time just as good
I tend not to go back to the same place when the first visit was so lovely but this time I did and it was just as good. If you are looking for noisy DJs, water aerobics and being pestered by entertainment staff don’t come here. If you want the best service, the best rooftop bar with Ibiza chill out vibes and a small town where you can walk to a choice of around 15 restaurants within 10 minutes then this is the relaxing spot for you. Special shout out to the ladies on Reception who are there if you need them and so welcoming and also to the bar tender on the rooftop who was there last year and welcomed us back (so sorry I don’t know his name) but so informative about what’s going on in the area and so friendly. They really have got it right at Mynd and I highly recommend a stay here. I would go for bed and breakfast so you can get out and sample the local restaurants. The food in the rooftop bar is really good for lunch with a bottle of wine, especially the crispy chicken which is so good. They also have an offer where you can choose to not have your room cleaned every day and gain a 15 euro credit to use for food or drink plus 10%. Not sure if that’s a limited offer or all the time but we had cleaning every other day which was fine. Hope you enjoy if you go.
The Good And The Bad
This hotel is what you’d call a mixed bag. The hotel itself is modern and clean with a great pool area and no fighting for sunbeds. The staff are very helpful and polite even though at times they seemed to be understaffed. The rooms are nice with a small balcony and a walk in shower with wc,but the wash basin is not actually in the shower room ,which is a bit odd. Breakfast is a buffet style affair which is ok but the choice of hot food was pretty much non existent. The fried eggs are precooked and then put on a hot plate that does the job of making them cold,don’t ask me how!! There is bacon and some scrambled eggs which were pretty much inedible. No show cooking of omelettes etc. We were half board and this is where it gets complicated,the hotel runs a credit system where you are allocated €27 pp per day for your evening meals,this rolls over if you don’t use your allocation, you can also use this credit to buy drinks,snacks etc. The only way of knowing what credit you have left or if your over your allowance( that has to be paid on checkout) is to ask at reception. An app would be a much better option to take away the hassle. If you don’t use your full credit there is no cash option!!!! We left with €55 in credit!! The evening meals are very hit and miss. If you don’t mind cold food when it should be hot then you’ll be happy. We ate in here 4 times and on each occasion there was issues with the food so we ate out on 3 occasions, which takes away the point of being half board. All in all it was a below average experience marred by poor catering and a system that is heavily of favour of the hotel. Would I stay here again? No
