Great accommodation and crew
The accommodation is great just like the hospitality. In the last three years the crew grew a lot in communication and effort. What would make it even better for us would be to enforce the house rules / etiquette, not only write about it on a piece of paper. For example: - It's not allowed to reserve sunbeds - It still happens, every day again. - During dinner, men should wear long trousers - This is not an all-inclusive 3* Costa Brava resort, act like it people!
Brilliant evening listening to fabulous piano player.
Piano man this evening is the best I have ever heard. He's up there with Elton John and Rick Wakeman. The range of music was excellent. The skill of delivery appears effortless but is so wonderfully complicated. He's "simply the best".
Amazing, fabulous and fantastic.
It is more than 5*. The staff make that happen, I wish I could remember names to let them know how welcomed and relaxed they made us feel. Pool guys got my sense of humour which can be an acquired taste. The place was SPOTLESS, the decor was unbelievable and the outside area blissful. So much work goes into that hotel but they do it so discreetly. A big thank you to the lovely lady who was more than helpful when I had dental problems, I think Nicole? A beautiful short haired blonde lady in a blue dress and Javier a real gent.
Magical hotel
What can I say that hasn’t already been said by fellow holidaymakers. Absolutely beautiful hotel - all glass, marble and fresh flowers everywhere, even in the toilets next to one of the decking areas. Oh how we love this hotel, but could not disregard the staff who really make it work. Harriet Thomson, Customer Experience Manager (fantastic young lady who is a credit to Los Fariones. Stephani in Reception - very helpful, professional young woman, who went beyond the expected in suggesting a masseur for an issue with my back. Lucia in the Restaurant, never in one place at one time, helping everyone with a smile and a chat. Finally, the Florist of the hotel. Beautiful arrangements. Junior Suite - not sure about the bathroom being split in two with the hand basin, mirror etc., opening into the bedroom area !! Wardrobe fairly small with not enough space for someone who takes a lot of clothes. Breakfast excellent, dinner varied and cooked to order. Bread table again excellent. This was a truly magical hotel to stay in (unfortunately spoiled for me by suffering Sciatica five days into our holiday). Thanks to all who helped me with this. Were it not but the fact that I was staying at Los Fariones and assisted by its wonderful staff who helped enormously it could have been a lot worse. A fabulous hotel with fabulous food and tremendous staff 🥰 Thank you to all 🥰. Hopefully, we might make it back again.
Perfect hotel
This hotel is in a perfect location as it sits between the very busy strip (great for cheap beer and nightlife) and the quieter marina area which has a large choice of good restaurants. The reception area is beautifully designed and the staff very friendly and helpful. We booked a sea view suite which was very large and had a big terrace with comfortable seating and a gorgeous view though it didn’t get the sun (too high in may). The design of the room was a little strange in that the bathroom was open to the bedroom (separate toilet and shower cubicles) and the cupboards for clothes (very generous sizes and lots of hangers) was in the lounge kitchen area. There was a sink and fridge (refilled daily with soft drinks, water and snacks) in the kitchen area. The cleaners did an excellent job, probably the best of any hotel we have stayed in, and the turn down service was also great. Breakfast buffet was again amongst the best we have experienced in any hotel - very attentive service, and an extremely large choice. The a la carte breakfast (only available to certain rooms) was not great though - there was less choice than in the buffet and the service was not as good - the only thing it had extra was eggs Benedict. We had an amazing stay and I would highly recommend this hotel.
