Bodde på Seashell två veckor i januari 2020. Jag har bott på många hotell i Candolim och Calangute sedan 2010, detta är ett av de bästa. Mycket god frukost, trevlig personal, städning varje dag, bra sängar. Väljer detta hotell även nästa gång.

Här blev jag otroligt väl mottagen av den fantastiska personalen som gjorde min vistelse till en oförglömlig upplevelse

Hotellet är bekvämt och vackert, har en fin restaurang som serverar allt från goanska rätter, rätter från övriga Indien och internationella rätter. I den största poolen kan man simma långa längder och få rejäl motion. Men det absolut bästa med hotellet är dess underbara personal som förutom att ge dig god service är omtänksamma och behandlar dig med värme. Den bästa hotellpersonal jag någonsin träffat!

Wonderful can’t wait to come back

What can I say this place is amazing the staff are wonderful especially the girls on reception Teressa and her 2 little friends . This is a wonderful place very professional but personal What I found particularly interesting was the owner his mannerisms and the way he is with his staff I’ve never seen this anywhere. From start to finish it was excellent

THE best in Candolim

Should not be doing a second review for seashell as I already did one 2 years ago. But have to as there were different experiences now that the covid controls are past us. First and most important is the warmth of how you are greeted. After the dismal experience in a 5 star property at Pune where I was coming from, this was like a blast of fresh air. They were better staffed also unlike my last experience here in 2021. Was escorted to my room despite my protests that I could go alone. The room remains one of the best I always come back to for one reason – SPACE!. It is ideal for families and those that would like more value for money in terms of space. Despite the two years having passed since my last visit, the condition of the room did not deteriorate. Later got to know that they use real teak for the furniture which only gets better with age. Despite the size of the room, the AC is a chiller to the extend that the windows get condensed over by morning. Fan was a bit noisy though, but did not need to use it except when housekeeping wanted to quickly dry the floor after cleaning. Sleep was great with minimal noise leakages from adjacent rooms unless someone was talking in the hallways which in Goa can happen even at 3am. Lighting in the room has so many options that it can be as bright as day after sunset or you can set it to soft mood lighting like in the picture attached. Restaurant attitude remained exceptional. On day 1, I misread the timing for the buffet breakfast and landed up half an hour early. Any other hotel would have turned me back. They did not. Instead, they accommodated my requests and served me as they would normally in buffet hours. Did order room service on more than one occasion and was not disappointed. I was even offered a cake on Friday as it was their owner’s birthday. It was very thoughtful of them, but had to refuse as I am diabetic. Also had to refuse their offer of packed breakfast next morning as usually the pastries and juice tend to be sugary. They made it up for both of these refusals in another way by accommodating another request from my end. I got to meet the owner’s son and we had a great conversation. Am not mentioning what we spoke about or his name here to respect his privacy and approach to his staff. But I loved the thinking on how they setup the property and the values instilled in the staff which make them look forward to being hospitable. Parking in hotel is limited to 9 cars and the rest have to be parked across the road. But it is within view of the hotel and should not really be a concern. It was interesting to note that I had made a mention of the missing tissue box in my last review and it seems that is now addressed. One of the best properties to stay at if you like being pampered and staff etiquette as well as cleanliness / space matter to you. Thank you Seashell for being one of the best choices in Candolim.

Comfort stay with good location

Rooms - are spacious and big. There is a queen bed with 2 two seater sofas, wardrobe, dressing table and 2 TV, There is a balcony with 2 chairs and table overlooking the garden. Junior suites is a large room so don't mistake it for 2 rooms 3 BHK villa consists of ground and first floor where ground floor consists of large living room and one bedroom, First floor has 2 bedrooms and all rooms have attached bathroom. Service - Warm staff eager to serve you and make you feel good.  Breakfast - consists on variety idli, wada, Sheera, sautéed mushrooms, sevaiyan, Egss and dosa to order, pancakes on order, fresh fruit, fresh juice and muffins. Swimming pool - They have 3 swimming pools ( small ones )  Car parking is available in the property  They also provide umbrellas if it's raining Owners of the property visit and meet all patrons, it was nice to meet Shelly and Royston and it was pleasure interacting with both of them.  Location- Its near Pinto Vaddo and there are plenty of good eateries and spa around within 1-2 km range. You have Vaddo 15, Tomatoes , Fisherman's cove and Newtons within walking distance including ATM. Candolim beach is 5 mins walk and there is pay and park car parking near the beach
