Arabian Nights

I had a really pleasant stay here for two nights as a solo traveller. The heritage vibe was totally different from any of my experiences on previous trips to Dubai. The hotel is spread out across the Al Seef Heritage Village in which there are numerous, high quality dining and retail opportunities. There is a bar tucked away on the first floor of the Indian supermarket on the waterfront too if you fancy a beer overlooking Dubai Creek. Loved the retro style of the room, which was spotlessly clean and tidy. I had a balcony room with souk view and it was a large balcony with plenty of space. A buffet breakfast was served in the hotel café each morning – just follow the signs. There’s a water taxi stop at the end of the village from where you can take an abra across the creek to the gold and spice souks and there’s also the Al Fahidi Fort [Dubai Museum] and the rest of the Al Fahidi Historical District on your doorstep. All in all, I’d highly recommend a few nights here to anyone wanting to experience a taste of old Dubai and its more traditional, authentic neighbourhoods.

Happy but noisy stay

I would have rate it 5 if not for the noise from the band of a restaurant located just below our room and also from the generator (I guess as our room located near the electricity room). Luckily we only stay for 1 night. Otherwise, The staff are wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was yummy. The ambience surrounding the hotel was lovely and can feel the vibe of old Arabian country.

Travel Through History

I am struggling to find words to explain an authentic experience of Al Seef which can genuinely be justice. It was a journey through the corridors from the past with a modern touch. Ella welcomed me with a genuine smile and helped me through the check-in process. She even helped to rectify a mistake with the number of reservations I had made. Ceaser assisted us with the luggage and gave us a ride to the room. The housekeeping team is truly one of the best teams so far from any other hotel, my room used to be serviced as fresh as it was a new arrival. Breakfast was traditional and fresh, the team was very welcoming and attentive. Chef thank you perfect omelette. It wasn't dry/ runny or oily at all it was just too perfect. I cannot forget Guest Relations Manager Aysha Hussein for her incredible people skills and SERQUEL expertise. She is leading her team from the front and setting a great example for them. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for delivering another remarkable experience. Everyone from the team is playing their role so naturally and with honesty that you cannot go wrong. I was sad to depart from the hotel so soon. AL SEEF is "A Life Time Experience with 100% perfection".

1001 night dream…

This hotel will take you back in history, like 1001 night story. A dream environment with amazing staff , specially miss Aysha and mr Mahmood at the reception and the bells boys , wallet guys , cleaning boys & the staff from breakfast room. All amazing and congratulations to the GM of this hotel to have such a great team. I will recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Dubai. Shahram

Old world charm

We loved our stay at Al Seef. We felt immersed in history (with the comfort of air con!) Staff were extremely helpful and responsive. The room was gorgeous with lots of nice decorative touches. The breakfast buffet was definitely worth the price, particularly given how expensive food and coffee is in general in Dubai. It was a great way to start each day of adventures. Its a great location from which to explore Old Dubai, the creek and souks. My only regret (which couldn't be avoided) was going in August when it was so very hot outside! We would definitely stay at this hotel again
