Unfortunately can not recommend. Hotel in itself new and ok, but we had problems. Stayed there with family and friends 30.01 - 06.02.2021. Our money was stolen from the room, right in the beginning, 500.- euros, so be careful, if You still choose the hotel. The staff did not call the police but insisted we should do it ourselves and gave us a phone number, that did not answer. Went to the police next day to make a complaint. Really made me feel not safe at all to stay there, because it felt like You never know what is going to be taken next. The hotel staff never asked us how we are, how could they help us to still spend a nice holiday and ofcourse - no options were offered in order to compensate our loss. I insisted, that I need to talk to the manager and when we finally got to that - she had no ideas or options etc to make us feel better, to compensate... nothing. I'm myself an owner of two companies and working with my clients every day. So I know how important it is to keep my clients happy and I always aim to keep a good relationship, good impressions. My question is - how does a hotel group allow this to happen and additionally even not care how we are, how could it be compensated etc. We travel a lot - such things never happened to us whether in Asia, Indonesia, Vietnam etc... and now in Spain, in Europe. And in the end - we have not got our deposit back from the hotel for the pool towels, 3 days after leaving...really people, how easy it is to break trust and how hard it is to rebuild it... SO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, there are many great options on the island, but this one is not one of them.
In the beginning we had some miscommunications about, among other things, the all inclusive premium ... the receptionist resolved this quickly and well, thank you. The hotel has generally exceeded our expectations during this exceptional period. The suites were spacious and clean, the bed was a bit short by our standards. The restaurant was not that big, but very clean and well organized. Some dishes were not really warm, but had a nice taste. We certainly found our enthusiasm there. The only con were the prepackaged sandwiches and the absence of fresh bread due to covid-19. I think breakfast will be even better after corona. The staff were very friendly and polite. After reading many negative reviews we left scared, but this was a totally wrong idea. There are still points for improvement; e.g. in communication (we only knew the last day that there was a transfer service to Maspalomas and Playa del Inglès, some services that are not operational), the terrace and the bar (everything is outdoors, what if it rains?), the spaces (now there was space everywhere, but we wonder if the hotel is fully operational, will there be enough space for everyone in the restaurant and at the bar?) Now we definitely recommend the hotel value for money (we booked in promo) ... however, the hotel still needs a bit of work to be operational at full price. We are used to Corallium Dunamar (4 *) and this was not the same level yet. The hotel is also somewhat remote, so you always need a hotel transfer or a taxi. A own mini market, hairdresser, ... would certainly be a plus! We enjoyed AI Premium with a supplement, which we definitely recommend! With the necessary improvements and a positive growing process, we definitely recommend this hotel. Greetings from Belgium! (see my pictures at google)

stayed at this hotel for a week to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday.Hotel very modern and clean disappointing that we paid for a suite with private sunbeds and coffee machine due to covid did not get them do not understand the logic surely less people at pool and large line of people for coffee in restaurant did not help social distancing. staff were all excellent ,food well cooked and presented however as other people have said always cold .drink selection at bar usual AI yes it is a good 40min walk to main resort however it is a flat enjoyable walk worth it lovely shops ,bars and restaurants and if you dont fancy walk back taxi is only 5 euros. will definitely return and would recommend hotel
Brand New, bright, comfortable hotel
Due to circumstances beyond my control my travel company transferred me to the Kumara Serenoa Hotel, Maspalomas. I was apprehensive at first, given some of the negative comments about it, though experience told me to take a few of the awful comments with a pinch of salt. I stayed here for three weeks, from the 8-29th November, 2020. The first remark to advise you is that this hotel is quite remote, at least 40 minutes' walk from the beach, and the same distance from Playa del Ingles. I didn't bother with taxis, preferring instead to walk for exercise. What Google Maps won't tell you is that there are a few short-cuts to the beach, bus-stop, and Faro 2 supermarket, over wasteland. These shortcuts must shave off 5 0r 10 minutes. The hotel is almost literally surrounded by a golf course, so there's only one road out. It is perfectly feasible to walk around the hotel, outside the railings, cross the golf course, and thence the dunes to the beach, though it is arduous enough. I did it several times though, in the end, went the more conventional route via the main road. I think the Kumara Serenoa is a lovely hotel. The staff are particularly helpful and kind; the food is perfectly good, with abundant choice (it isn't piping hot: this is not the UK!). WiFi is very good and free. I watched my favourite British programmes on the iPad with headphones and connection to a VPR (Hidden24). The Faro 2 supermarket isn't far, perhaps 15 minutes. Bedrooms aren't huge, though fine. Mine had flat-screen telly, little fridge, and sofa. The wash hand basin is a peculiar shape, though works OK. Large pool towels can be hired free, with a €5 deposit. The pool is beautiful, with a large sunbed area. Two gorgeous cats delighted me during my stay, and ingratiated themselves to me ( I did feed them every morning with ham). All in all an agreeable holiday, though I'll likely return to my usual haunt in Fuerteventura in 2021.

No nice views because it's located to low to see anything. - food is not really good en cold everytime - my sister called to ask to decorate the room for our honeymoon. they told her they would make it work. Sadly nothing happened - toiletseat broke during our stay - all inclusive is not really all inclusive. - no privacy because the pool is right outside. + good hygiene + friendly staff + medium cocktails + cats + parking space + nice room, good shower
