Great Solo Birthday Stay!!

Aesthetically pleasing and morden hotel in the perfect location. It’s in the centre to everything, the marina and beach is a 10minute walk. This was a solo birthday trip and I was surprised with complimentary champagne & a cheese cake dessert on my arrival. This was a nice welcome gift from the hotel, Thank you!! The rooms are spacious and the the buffet breakfast is delicious. The breakfast staff were lovely and kind enough to make me a personalise omelette every morning at my request. I had a great solo stay and felt safe in the hotel…I would stay here again. Also there’s a jewellery shop in the hotel with astonishing pieces for yourself or a loved one.The owner Roger is so lovely, definitely worth a visit on your stay.

Short break Puerto Banus

Hotel excellent location, rooms very clean, service above and beyond . The food at evening dinner was cold, we observed the kitchen staff taking the food back to the kitchen to be re-heated. Would stay again

Great time at Occidental Puerto Banus.

Location was amazing. We walked down to the Yacht harbor a few times. We ended up enjoying a small place on the Yacht row, called Amber. The staff there was fun, and the evenings were lively. I know the hotels in Europe have the spilt beds, we wish they were not split. Most of the hotels in Spain do not have wash cloths. So, we will need to bring out own from now on.

one night stay

It was a ok hotel for one night, but no more then that. The breakfast is unorganized you have to get coffee on one side and milkon the other. Bad pillows in the bed. You can hear the road in the back of the hotel and the rooms next to yours you can here if the move a chair.

Don’t stay here if you want good service…

Don’t stay at this hotel if you want good service. We arrived as a group of 9 girls, the woman we dealt with on reception was awful, terrible customer service and had no idea what she was doing. Check in took well over 90 minutes and we were told our rooms weren’t ready and to come back at 2pm, which we did. We were the told we needed to check in again and that our rooms still weren’t ready and to top it off all of the rooms were miles away even though I had emailed them twice to request we were close together. As you can imagine we were furious by this point after spending another 60 minutes at the desk. The lady we dealt with was so unhelpful and rude, it made the whole experience 10 times worse. The breakfast was freezing cold every morning, the queue for the outside bar is a joke and again rude staff and the drinks and food are so expensive €25 for hot dog and chips. The pool is absolutely filthy, black marks round the side, all sorts floating in it, you would probably catch a disease if you spend too long in there. You would think the pool would be clean given the life guard shouts and blows her whistle if you go within a meter of the pool with a PLASTIC cup! The hotel and grounds are gorgeous, as are the rooms, they have everything you need and are spacious and cleaned daily however the road is so loud on an evening. Perfect location and within walking distance to everything.
