Skiathos Avaton Suites

Went to the avaton suites the last week in September and i must say what a lovely place it is to stay, the rooms were spacious and modern, equipped with kettle, coffee maker, fridge, iron, hairdryer. The bed was HUGE and comfy and the rooms were cleaned every day. The staff were so helpful with nothing so much trouble for them. Pool and bar area was tranquil and peaceful. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice, even bacon, eggs, omelettes, fruit, yogurts and pastries.Like a lot of people have said there is a very steep hill up to the rooms so if you are in town getting a taxi for 10 euro is a good option, a godsend some nights😀

Amazing Avaton suites

We stayed at the suites for a week at the end of September and from the moment we arrived to the day of our departure we couldn’t have asked for more. All of the staff were delightful, friendly and couldn’t be more accommodating, despite it being the end of their long season their enthusiasm didn’t faulter. Our suite was spacious and immaculately clean, towels changed everyday. Breakfast was buffet style with a great choice, we also had a few great evening meals at the suites. Overall couldn’t fault our stay, it was quiet, relaxing and super chilled. Will definitely return. Special thanks to Eleni, Vivi and the great team, enjoy your well deserved rest. Wonderful staff and beautiful views of pine trees, olive groves and sea.

Stayed here for a week at the end of September 2023, unfortunately a potential wonderful holiday was ruined by the weather. This wonderful property is nestled amongst lush green pine trees and olive groves with a wonderful view of the sea. The staff here need a special mention, every single one of them works very hard to make your stay enjoyable, all very helpful and polite with wonderful smiles on their faces at breakfast time. Rooms were kept spotless daily with fresh bed sheets and towels changed on a daily basis. The actual room is very spacious and leads on to a veranda with gorgeous views of tress and the sea in the distance. A large mini fridge , tv and air con is also provided. The bathroom is small but adequate with a shower that works well. There is a staircase in the room that leads to a wonderfully comfortable king size bed. Breakfast is served at the bar area and there are many different choices, something delicious for everyone. The walk to the suites and villas from the road can be quite a challenge for someone with walking difficulties as is quite a climb up hill, some signposts would help to stop people taking the wrong fork in the road as I did on a couple of occasions. The only thing I found odd and disappointing was the fact that when you arrive at the airport, a large van collects your luggage and takes it all the way up the hill to the suites but the other van that collects the passengers drops you off at the bottom of the hill so you have to trek all the way up with your hand luggage etc. The same was with departure, the van collects your luggage from the suites but you have to walk all the way down to be collected. Overall, it's a great place to stay but the climb up can keep you fit, I should imagine it's a killer in the middle of a summers day. Would we return ? There's a very good chance we would.

Όμορφη εμπειρία!

We came for a week with my boyfriend at this hotel and had a great time. We were welcomed with great joy and the staff were very welcoming and all of them kind. The breakfast was in the form of a buffet and everything was very nice and tasty. Upon our arrival in the room we were welcomed with a bottle of wine by the hotel group. Thank you very much and we will definitely be back.
