Ej trivsamt hotell
Frukosten är en katastrof, det står i broschyren att det serveras en enklare frukost. Jovisst är den enklare men det är ofta tomt i grytorna. Sängarna på rummen är också katastrof då de är stenhårda, bättre att ligga på en luftmadrass. Att detta hotel har 3,5 stjärnor är hur långt från verkligheten .somhelst. Dålig service och personalen verkar inte ha gått på någon charmkurs precis. Verkligt betyg är möjligen 2 stjärnor eller 1,5.
My Mum and I have been coming to this hotel for over 10 years and we can’t wait to return in 2024. The hotel is in a great location with a beautiful beach and several great tavernas within easy walking distance. There is a great bar, which serves the best drinks and cocktails, and there is a lovely clean pool, which is never overcrowded (bonus). There is an excellent selection of food at breakfast, and the rooms we have stayed in have always been clean with a stunning sea view. The hotel has recently refurbished several of the rooms - we stayed in one of these rooms last year and it was absolutely fantastic! The air conditioning unit was new and so were the beds, which were extremely comfortable. What really makes this hotel stand out is the staff, who are always so friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Whenever we return to this hotel, we get the warmest welcome and feel as though we are coming home. See you soon! :-)
Ok if you’re happy with basic
Ok but nothing special. Pool was unclean, I didn’t use it once and a pool is why I choose to go on holidays. We actually used pools in different hotels. Most of the staff seemed nice enough. Rooms weren’t clean and no safe provided. One of the cleaners left our balcony door open all day so there were bugs everywhere. No entertainment and zero atmosphere after 9pm. Location is good!

Mixed review for this hotel and in truth I am conflicted on how to review because it is a 'nice' hotel but could do better. I'll start with the positives: Firstly a big shout out to Anastasia and Mario who are the two members of staff that look after everybody, so helpful and friendly. Location of hotel is great. Very close to two good beaches, both with beds, waters ports, boat hire and restaurants etc but equally quiet, not rowdy. The number 12 bus stop is 2 minutes walk away, which was great to go in to Skiathos Town. Restaurants nearby, we particularly liked Lias. Lovely view from sea view room and the room was a decent size, I have stayed in smaller grecian rooms before. Now unfortunately the negatives that could be easily sorted: The pool area and pool need to be cleaned, the time we were there we did not see this cleaned once. There was lots of shale debris on the floor between sunbeds that could easily be swept up. The pool had lots of flies that could be scooped up with a net. Also lots of the debris from the poolside was visible along with leaves on the bottom of the pool, I have never stayed anywhere where pool and poolside are not looked after. This can be easily fixed with a bit of effort. I think the cleaning of rooms could be better, it was disappointing that our toilet was never cleaned. The shower curtain was unclean and the bath had tide marks on arrival. The toilet flush didn't work properly either, we reported our concerns to staff, who said we will report it but I doubt they will bother doing anything, for a staff member to know that would be the response was a shock and incidentally nothing changed. Breakfast is a mixed affair with positive and negatives. lots on offer, cereal, toast, fruit, yogurts, pastries and the usual bacon, sausage, eggs and beans - I have deliberately not said hot food because it wasn't, unfortunately it wasn't even warm. would be great if the food was hot to begin with or provide a microwave in the breakfast room so customers can warm it themselves. Overall the hotel was quiet and a laid back place to stay in a great location but some things should come as standard practice irrespective of how many stars they have, for example if offering hot breakfast it should be hot, the pool and area should be clean and clean toilets/bathrooms are not high expectations. It would be easy for hotel management to say you only have to ask, but not all customers are comfortable in asking and they shouldn't have to ask for things to be done that should come as standard. Or in our case we asked but nothing got done, very disappointing. I feel conflicted over this hotel, I liked it but could have really liked it and given a five star review if all the negatives were taken care of.

I’m flabbergasted that this is a Jet 2 holiday. My mission is to get it removed. I never leave reviews but the thought that someone if I can help someone else not have their holiday ruined it makes me feel relieved.So many nice places in skiathos this has to be the worst I’ve ever experienced. I tried to resolve some issues with the staff and owner but was clear it’s pointless. Everyone of them had an attitude problem and was vile the rudeness was unbelievable. It couldn’t quite believe what I was seeing and hearing. The rooms are absolutely horrific, it’s so tired and run down it’s a death trap. My mums is 70 and disabled and the bed was unacceptable for £1000 for the week. The breakfast, at first I thought it was a joke, revolting, cold, limited. The bar was pointless never open and has no stock. The atmosphere of the hotel was dreadful. The pool is like a swap not a single person went in and not a single towel put out early cause you wouldn’t spend you day around the pool unless you want to be ill. If you go here you need to be ready to spend your holiday trying to sort your grievance. We all feel completely ripped off, made to feel very unwelcome. I should imagine the response to my review will hoghlight the arrogant owner. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Get yourself somewhere else on this island.
