A Fantastic Stay with Some Room for Improvement

From the moment my wife & I arrived at Cooks Club Corfu, we were impressed by the hotel's modern design, welcoming atmosphere, and laid-back vibe. While there were some minor drawbacks, we genuinely loved our time at this great hotel! One of the standout aspects was the exceptional food quality. Every meal was delicious and exceeded our expectations, with the made to order Pizza being a personal favourite!! The variety of options available catered to different tastes, we just wish there was even more choice. The staff at Cooks Club Corfu were the true stars of our stay. From the front desk to the restaurant and bar staff, everyone was friendly, approachable, and genuinely made an effort to ensure guests felt welcome. The outdoor seating areas and poolside bar provided the perfect setting for relaxation & a few beers. Although slightly odd that there wasn’t enough cushions for the number of chairs in the outdoor bar, rendering many seats unusable. However the lack of evening entertainment was a surprising disappointment, leading to the 4 star review. Given the vibrant and energetic atmosphere of the hotel during the day with a number of DJs, we expected more opportunities for nighttime activities. Sadly, during our five-night stay, there were only two nights with entertainment. This was somewhat surprising, as we had anticipated a livelier and more engaging nightlife experience. Despite this minor shortcoming, Cooks Club Corfu remains an excellent choice for those seeking a tranquil and stylish getaway. The hotel's ambiance, combined with its outstanding food quality and attentive staff, creates an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday, with the hope that they continue to expand their evening entertainment offerings in the future :)

Brilliant all-inclusive hotel in a great location

Brilliant all-inclusive hotel. We had a room with a swim-up pool which was really lovely and were lucky to be the room on the end which we enjoyed. It was west facing so we didn't stat to get the sunshine on the patio until around 2:30pm, however that worked well for us as we tended to go out in the morning or sat around the main pool (note there are also rooms on the East Side (same side as the main pool) - however I would recommend going for one of the west facing rooms as you'll be able to enjoy the sun longer into the evening than those around the main pool). The food was great. Some of the evening options were a bit bland in flavour, however overall we were pleased with the variety and how this changed every night. Also great dessert choices which I haven't found in european all-inclusives before. The bar snacks were our favourite and I don't want to know how many Aperol spritz's we got through. Only a 20min transfer time from the airport and in a good location to travel around the island. We really enjoyed the day time atmosphere. The music in the evening was also good, however we found it a bit frustrating that it could be heard from our room on the nights we wanted to go to bed before 11:30pm. The main issue we had was the staff room door situated next to our room (room 512) would slam every time it was opened/closed which meant we were woken up most mornings multiple time from 6am. We did report this to the reception team and also the Customer Relations lady on the last day and she advised she would look into it, so hopefully that will be resolved. Also, we weren't a huge fan of the glass door to the toilet - not very soundproof/private!!

May 2023 - Superb!

Date of stay - 18/05 - 25/05/2023 What a fantastic hotel. The staff were all excellent from the man at the gates, cleaners, receptionists, bar staff, staff in the restaurant, guest relations and managers; always smiling, happy, attentive and approachable. It didn't matter what their position was they were all brilliant. Loved the hotel app - never been to an all inclusive hotel before where you select from a menu and the staff bring the food to you. Food was excellent. Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and what a fantastic view over the bay - we were in room 459. Recommend a walk around the Marina, towards Dasia and down to the bay and jump on the blue bus to the main town - where the old fortress in so worth a visit. We were so impressed that we are looking at the other Cook's Clubs hotels and hope to send my partner's son and his partner to this hotel in the very near future. Thanks to all the staff for a very relaxed, enjoyable and memorable stay.

Lovely chilled break

Just got back from 10 days at cooks club and we had a lovely time. We had a pool view room on the second floor but could also see the mountains and a sliver of the sea also. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We thought the food and drink selection was very good and the evening we had in the fancier restaurant the food was exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and would like to give a special mention to Maria on guest relations who was so lovely and helpful, helping us plan trips but also taking a general interest in how me and my partner who is pregnant were doing asking each day how sarah was feeling and helping us if we needed anything. Overall we had a really great trip. Only negatives for us was the hotel was too far out from the centre as we do like to walk around and explore and although gouvia is close the walk wasn’t the most picturesque. Only negative for us was the music in the evening as was very loud for us when trying to sleep as we went to bed early as my partner is pregnant. We probably would have stayed downstairs to enjoy the evenings more if the music was varied in the evenings eg a 90s evening one night and then a jazz one the next or something.

Disappointing not 5 star

Accommodation was excellent, well furnished and clean. However the reason for the 3* review was the food. The food in the main restaurant was basic, certainly not the 5* it was supposed to be. The food in the a la carte restaurant is excellent but extra cost despite being included. We ended up paying €99 extra for a dinner + wine for 2 people.
