Fantastisk utsikt över gamla Nessebar och havet.

Mirage är ett trevligt hotell med trevlig personal. I alla fall de som är lite äldre. De yngre sitter bara och tittar på sina mobiltelefoner. Hotellets läge är väldigt bra och utsikten är fantastisk. Hotellet har dock ingen egen strand utan den ägs av någon annan som tar höga avgifter för att man ska få bada där. Detta framkom inte tydligt när vi beställde resan. Det finns dock en allmän strand några hundra meter bort. Frukosten var bra. Det fanns ganska mycket att välja på. Mirage ligger i Nya Nessebar som är väldigt trevligt att vara i och det är inte heller så lång väg att gå till gamla Nessebar. Att bo på Mirage var i det stora hela en positiv upplevelse och jag rekommenderar det gärna till andra men man måste beställa ett rum med utsikt mot havet!

Rent och trevligt hotell. Enligt oss så har det här hotellet bästa läget av alla hotell i Nessebar. Rummen var fina och välstädade men sängarna var väldigt dåliga, saknades en madrass så man låg direkt på fjädrarna men vi sov bra varje natt ändå. Frukosten var rätt så skaplig tycker vi, inte så stor variation kanske men vi blev då mätta varje dag. På ena sidan av hotellet kliver man rätt ut på sandstranden och på andra sidan är det bara 100 meter till shopping gatorna och bara 50 meter till närmaste restaurang. Annars är ju bästa restaurangerna ute på gamla Nessebar och dit går man på bara 10 minuter, där upplevde vi personalen både på restaurangerna och i butikerna som mycket trevligare och gästvänligare än i nya delen. Tänk på att solstolarna på stranden kostar 30 leva (150 sek) per dag för två stolar och ett parasoll, men då är ju det en jätte fin och långgrund strand.

Příjemný hotel na pláži

Největší výhodou hotelu je jeho umístění. Hotel leží přímo na krásné pláži, na kterou se dostanete pohodlně výtahem přímo z hotelu a je v docházkové vzdálenosti od krásného centra Starý Nesebar (cca 15 min). Další výhodou hotelu je krásný výhled na moře z většiny pokojů. Musím velmi pochválit našeho delegáta "Shaker", který byl velmi přátelský a šikovný. Pomohl nám vyřešit jakékoliv problémy, ochotně se vším poradil a vysvětlil. Je vidět, že u něj je host opravdu na prvním místě a maximálně se mu věnuje, aby jeho pobyt byl co nejpříjemnější a bez starostí, které mohou nastat. "The biggest advantage of the hotel is its location. The hotel is located directly on a beautiful beach, which you can easily reach by elevator directly from the hotel, and it is within walking distance of the beautiful center of Old Nesebar (approx. 15 minutes). Another advantage of the hotel is the beautiful sea view from most of the rooms. I have to give a big shout out to our delegate "Shaker" who was very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped us solve any problems, willingly consulted and explained everything. It can be seen that with him the guest really comes first and he devotes himself as much as possible to make his stay as pleasant as possible and without any worries that may arise."

Good and Bad

Where do I begin? Location couldn’t be better. We had a sea view and at times felt we were on a cruise ship the sea was so near. Rooms were slightly dated but clean good size plenty of hot water and air con very efficient. Never had a problem getting a sunbed by the very small pool. Sunbeds and umbrella for two were equivalent to £12 per day on beach. Beach got very busy but presume you could always get one. Breakfast for me was very poor. My husband likes salad so was fine. Hot food was cold and we were encouraged to use microwave to warm it up! To us the staff were the let down apart from a couple of exceptions they were very sullen never smiled and weren’t interested in their guests. We were not alone in this opinion. Not sure if it is a Balkan culture but 90% of people in general never smiled said please or thank you and certainly didn’t make you feel welcome in their country. There was no happy holiday vibes at all. We holiday all over the world and have to be honest in saying we have never been anywhere with this attitude before. We spoke to Germans with the same opinion on service being NIL. Such a shame as beaches are fabulous but we would never come back.

Value for money and good location

The rooms were adequate maybe a little tired but were kept very clean. Breakfast was more than adequate- plenty of choice both sweet and savoury. I had a few lunches which were very reasonably priced, well presented and very enjoyable. The location is excellent with numerous restaurants and bars close by and the beautiful old town of Nessebar only 15 minutes walk. The massage lady Petya was excellent I arrived stressed and tired, however I left with a new body, a new face and very relaxed. I had excellent service from most of the staff but the bartender Galla and waitress Lili provided above and beyond. The lovely receptionist (unfortunately I don’t have her name) was also very helpful regarding pointing me in the right direction and giving advice as to what was worth seeing. All in all this hotel is value for money, in an excellent location and the standard of massage is worth experiencing.
