Great hotel, newly renovated. Clean, spacious rooms, everything maintained, friendly staff, always willing to help, breakfast and dinner excellent, great choice of food. Hotel is in quiet area. The beach is about 300 meters away, I recommend walking a little further (on the opposite side from Laganas) as there are beach showers. The beach is beautiful, sandy, clean, gradual entrance to the sea. The only minus/downside of the hotel is that the towels are changed only every 3 days and that the bathroom is smaller and older - especially the shower is very small. But that's all. The hotel is better in quality than some hotels with more stars - it is very good 3* hotel, great value. I definitely recommend Hotel Sirocco. I would go there again.
Great family run hotel with really helpful and welcoming staff
Just returned from The Sirocco after staying half board from 13th to 27th September 2022. A really great hotel which with a few tweeks could be amazing, From the time we arrived to leaving all the staff were very welcoming and professional. We requested a ground floor room due to my husband's mobility issues which we were given. A good size really pretty room with a large balcony overlooking the rear garden and mountains. The beds were a little uncomfortable but rectified with a mattress topper when requested which made a big difference. Our only bug bear was the shower which was a very small shower tray with a curtain and no matter what we did the bathroom flooded however we were supplied with another bathmat to soak up the water. Its 2022 and we think a shower curtain is not really acceptable when there is plenty of room for an enclosed shower. Every part of the hotel and grounds were immaculate and spotless. Breakfast and dinner were good with plenty of choice so you wouldn't go hungry although a little repetitive but for a small hotel they did great and when your there for two weeks its bound to happen. The swimming pool is amazing and there was never a problem getting a sun bed. A big shout out must go to Demi and Pedro in the bar and restaurant who looked after us so well always with a smile and enthusiasm. We don't understand why others have been so negative in their reviews. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
If you like a luke warm bland breakfast then this place is perfect for you.
Clean, We were put right out the back of beyond but it was quiet, lots of German neighbours. Breakfast was bad, luke warm, bland, every day was the same. No kettle in room and when asked if we could hire one we were told no. Drinks at the bar were very expensive compared to the other places we have been in kalamaki and we have been to a few. We have also stayed in quite a few hotels in kalamaki. We asked if we could use a towel for their communal shower as our flight was late afternoon and had vacated the room earlier, wanted to shower before our journey to airport but was told they didnt have any!! in our opinion this hotel is over priced. There are much better hotels to choose from, pick wisely.
Good but could be great with a few tweeks
Myself and my husband have just returned from the Sirocco Hotel after a lovely few nights. First thing to mention is how welcome the staff are, very friendly and are also so helpful. We had an issue on our last day when our transport arranged with Jet2 didn't turn up. We also didnt have much cash left so the lady on reception spent ages on the phone trying to get through to find a taxi to check if they would take credit card or could drop us at a cash machine on the way to the airport. It was all sorted and we didn't miss our flight so really helped with my stress as I'm also 6 months pregnant! Regarding the rest of the hotel, it's clean and the food at breakfast had a small variety (we only did b&b) and was fine for us but I may have gotten bored if we were staying for more than 3 nights. We had some drinks at the pool bar as well which were reasonably priced. The pool isn't heated but because Greece can be so hot it was actually nice and refreshing! Also only downside is the room we had didn't have blackout curtains, meaning that as soon as the sun comes up I was awake so that made me quite tired for the trip. Overall I would recommend as an adults only hotel.
This hotel.is terrible it is for OAPs who moan if you have the TV on lounder than number 4 My son got woken up many times with the night staff telling him to keep noise down and he had tv on number 4 in the background Definitely not worth the money do not bother unless you're over 60
