Modern small hotel above Chora

We stayed for 2 nights in early May. Our room (408)was comfortable with a small balcony with a little underwhelming view across the road but with the sea in the distance .We found the fridge did not work but Maria acted quickly and a replacement was installed.The room was a little way from the pool and adjoining breakfast area but that was not a problem for us.Breakfasts were excellent.As others have said there is a track down to the harbour which we used twice but post dinner took taxis up ( 10 euros for less than 5 minutes seemed expensive but we soon learned that Mykonos is not the cheapest island in the Cyclades !

Wonderful Mykonos hotel

Our travel agent made an error with our booking and while this was not the fault of My Mykonos, Stelios did everything possible to accommodate us and make our stay an enjoyable one. Excellent service from all members of staff who are a credit to My Mykonos. Emily was very welcoming and kind and gave us good suggestions and recommendations, and the breakfast staff were brilliant, remembering our order each day. The cleaning staff were also superb - everywhere in the hotel was immaculate. The road outside the hotel is very busy with cars and be warned it’s quite a steep incline on the way back from the town to the hotel. It’s definitely worth walking down though as this is where the famous views of Sunset Bar can be found (2 minutes’ walk from the hotel). We used the imove app and paid 20 euros each way for trips into town and back. We paid about 26 euro to get to Platis Gialos beach. We had dinner at the hotel which was expensive but worth the money, excellent service as always and good food. We loved the cabanas which are free to use. We used get your guide to book a boat trip from the town into Delos and Rhenia. Highly recommend a boat trip as the water is much nicer to swim in than the beaches. Thank you My Mykonos for a wonderful stay - we would definitely recommend this hotel and return.

Charming yet modern hotel, wonderful staff!

This comfortable hotel offers a selection of room sizes and styles (research this in advance of booking) and excellent food. The best part of our stay, however, was the people--kind and friendly hotel staff who went out of their way to make sure our visit was enjoyable. The location is just off the main road, above Mykonos Town and a 10 minute fairly steep walk down a dirt path and stone walkways to shopping and restaurants but the stone walkways are part of the charm of Mykonos. Nights, away from the bustle of activity in town, were quiet.

Great hotel but the location let's it down

This is a nice hotel, the staff are helpful and friendly. I agree with other reviews the rooms are minimalist but very clean and comfortable and if you are only staying for a few days the lack of hanging space and drawers is not an issue. Breakfast is fairly good although food is not kept hot. The pool area is good and plenty of places to sit. The 2 issues outside the hotels control are both due to it's location. Being close to the airport you hear planes from early morning to mthe evening. The other issue is the walk from the hotel to the town, 20-25 mins across a bussy road and down a steep hill. We could manage it in 'sensible' shoes ( we're in ourn 60's ) but if you have problems with mobility look for a better location

Wonderful Mykonos stay

We had a fantastic stay at My Mykonos hotel. It is located just 10 minutes walking from town and there is a wonderful pool on premises. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious. At one point I had a stain on my pants from a precious dinner and I was leaving the next day. The staff was kind enough to do my laundry for the pants that same evening and did not charge me anything additional. Everyone was very kind. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone in Mykonos.
