Modernt hotell med trevlig service

Nyrenoverat hotell, fräsch modern inredning. Trevligt poolområde. Fin bufférestaurang med mycket god mat. Hjälpsam och trevlig personal. Mycket bra läge nära strand och shopping. Barnen älskade animationteamet. Ett hotell som passar både vuxna och barn. Lokalbussen stannar precis utanför hotellet.

LABRANDA SUITES HONEST REVIEW

I am currently staying at labranda suites and cannot find many faults at all, despite the negative comments on certain areas. I think the reception staff were brilliant have helped me out on any info I asked for and also provided a goodie bag because we arrived after 11pm. Rooms are spotless and huge we stayed 5th floor pool view adults only. The cabanas are brilliant. The all inclusive drink is decent especially cocktails are nice not strongest but ideal. Free beach towels from spa everyday is a nice touch. The food was decent, breakfast good choice of pastries etc but not much hot choice but was okay still got bacon and sausage’s etc. lunch was ideal nice pizza and pastas chicken cooked on the spot as well as steaks, lots of meats/cheeses and chips etc, dinner was okay not massive choice but done the job. Sunset bar on roof is beautiful and has amazing views however quite expensive for drinks but high quality alcohol served. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would come Back. Please don’t listen to all The bad reviews unless you and a picky person

We stayed in the Labranda Suites Costa Adeje from 30.07.22 until 06.08.22, this is an honest review. Firstly the positives The rooms are quite modern and mostly do reflect what is advertised. The hotel as a whole seems quite modern, which is what we prefer. Sadly this is where it ends... Always book a room with at least a pool view, or you could be facing a very busy street, also try and ask for a higher floor room if you dont want all the noise on your doorstep. We stayed in the adults only area, which was quieter than the family area. I took a little peek and it was absolutely packed there, very crowded pool, no free sun loungers at all and very cramped. I left very quickly, and felt sad for the families who were there as it almost seemed overbooked. The adult side was quieter and there were usually sunbeds available until late morning. However, many towels reserving beds all day with noone showing up and the staff simply do not care. Reception staff, apart from one lady, are unhelpful and almost rude. Unless you speak spanish or french, you are gonna struggle. The reception area is not very comfortable, especially on check out day when you hang around waiting for your transfer. It was also quite warm, the air con in the whole building was very very poor. In the room we left the air con on 24/7, and it never got below 22 degrees. The rooms are good size but I was very disappointed by the cleanliness. Smears on bathroom and entrance doors from previous guests, door handles havent seen a clean for ages, furniture dusty. We did report this to Ross, the Jet2 rep, who reported this to the hotel twice, but never was anything done about it. The floor did not get a wipe the whole week, even the nice bar of lindt chocolate I left for the cleaner motivated her to do more, not even a thank you. Take a pack of disinfecting wipes with you if you are staying. Food was plentiful, as I am a vegetarian I never gauge the food in the hotels on just my opinion. My husband stated the food was acceptable. I bit repetitive but you never went hungry. However, if you are gluten intolerant then you have a problem. They do not cater for this at all. At all mealtimes you have to get your own drinks from the machines in the drinks corner, no waiter service. I felt a bit sorry for the staff in the restaurant, because all they were doing was clearing tables. On the whole, the restaurant staff were polite. A big shout out to Marcel the barman. He makes the best Mojitos, but the rest of the bar staff is not very interested. All inclusive ends at 11 pm, if you want any drinks after that then you must pay. And the roof top bar is not included in the all inclusive package at any time. Entertainment was good if there was live music. Which was every other day. Pool towels are available in the spa area, and we had them changed every day. There is usually a deposit to pay, but the only nice reception lady didnt charge us. We did meet some nice guests, especially the lovely family from Birmingham and we are looking to stay in touch. So, to sum things up: the hotel is not terrible, but if felt understaffed, and the staff that ARE there are often not bothered to keep things nice and sadly it shows. House keeping must be improved, especially during the times that we live in. And to the elderly gentleman at reception, please do not ignore guests arriving, its not professional and you did let your colleague down who was trying to check in lots of people quickly so we didnt miss dinner. It wasnt a bad week, but it was definitely not as good as I expected. Sadly I will not return.

Lacks true customer orientated approach

First and last visit. Half of the staff seem happy to work there and other half presents as going through the motions; guests are perhaps not valued. Starting to look weary already- shower trays have mould. Air conditioning inadequate. Some of the meat was really tough and a good set of incisors needed! We arrived late in the evening on a Saturday (for a 9 Days break) missing dinner. I asked on our last day if we could have lunch as we were leaving before dinner would be served - it was refused…meanies to say the least. I explained I’d paid for 9 meals and 9 breakfasts ( it states lunch and dinner can be swapped) but the faceless manager sent the receptionist to deliver the refusal to allow us lunch. I felt there was always a power struggle going on with staff vs guests. Courtesy room was helpful. Wouldn’t recommend due to the disappointing dinner/lunch decision. You really need to start thinking outside the box!

Great place to stay

We stayed in the Adults side of this hotel. What a great hotel to stay at, after reading reviews beforehand I was a bit unsure but definitely take no notice of the negative reviews. Couldn’t really fault the hotel. Very central, very clean in all areas. The food was brilliant, we had five different chocolate fountains, some hotels struggle with one!!!! The staff were friendly and provided help when it was needed. The rooms were amazing, really spacious and modern. Plenty of sun beds in which you didn’t have to get up the crack of dawn to get one. If I had one suggestion to improve it would be the choice of drinks on the all inclusive, they were a bit limited but we aren’t big drinkers so it wasn’t that much of a problem. All in all it was a great holiday in a lovely hotel in which I would stay at again without a doubt.
