Helt ok hotell men det ligger ju lite off. Saknade lite liv o rörelse utanför

Maten var enformig, dåligt kryddad och varma rätter ofta bara ljumma. Man hade en klädkod i matsalen men den efterlevdes inte. Många kom till middagen i badshorts, linne och flipflops. Dålig stil som inte påtalades! Dessutom ofräscht! Först den tredje kvällen lyckades vi få en vinlista. Personalen visade dessförinnan bara fram en app där man bara kunde se priset på vinerna. Det räcker ju inte, Personalen kunde komma mitt i måltiden och begära betalt för det man hade beställt. Man fick med emfas be dem komma tillbaka efter att måltiden var slut. Av de halvpensioner vi haft genom åren på Kanarieöarna var nog den här sämst. Rätt skönt att lämna efter en vecka!

Höll standard
Sminkspegel på badrummet då synen på mig var dålig. Man kom inte riktigt fram till spegeln vid lampan.

A very pleasant stay and good value

We have been going to Maspalonas for the last 20 years but the accommodation we used prior to Covid did not do an inclusive package we were advised to do in case things go wrong. We booked Kumara with Jet2 holidays whose arrangements were also first class. At Kumara we were made very welcome and the rooms we were allocated were as expected but things you don't see on pictures, cleanliness, sound proofing and the quality of the beds were excellent. We were on half board but quality and selection of food made a lunch redundant. The only slight disappointment was the cold plates and the temperature of hot food. We did find the microwave but would suggest the hot buffet arrangements could be improved. We play golf when there so a great bonus as LopeSan own the hotel and the golf courses we eventually got a very good deal. Mary at reception seemed the only one who understood the system. All in all a very pleasant two weeks - yes it is an excellent 4 star.

Great 11 days

If you want a quiet holiday this this is it there is no there is nothing to do the hotel the retail is lovely The staff are very nice There is nothing to do at night Entertainment is not good All inclusive means not all inclusive have to pay for bottled water Coffee machines that take parts What do you have to pay for You're fascinated over expensive So called superior sunbeds 45 euro a day You get a bottle of wine with that It is The food is very good Not hot enough There is a micro It is a 30 minute walk to Maspalomas It's it's a nice walk There is a free bus Or you can get a taxi for €5 It's a great hotel if you're a golfer The rooms are very clean but small We were in number 220 and it was a great pool view

The perfect resort

Having visited Gran Canaria many times before, this is by far the best hotel i have stayed in. Actually probably the best hotel on any holiday. The staff are very friendly and make you feel so welcome, including the very happy animation team. The rooms and hotel Facilities are perfect and very very clean. There are plenty of sun beds so no need for the “towel on the sun bed in the morning while you go for breakfast”! The taxi cost to the yumbo is only €4.50 but is easy to walk to if you prefer. Absolutely amazing resort and the most friendly staff! I’ll be coming back with family and friends!!!!!

Perfect week of R&R

Just sitting at the airport contemplating my week at the Kumara Serona. As a solo traveller, it was totally perfect for me. The hotel smelled amazing, it was spotless, the rooms are beautifully styled, the bathrooms are to die for. Honestly couldn’t fault it. Even though the hotel was full, it never felt packed. Plenty of beds and all in great spots. The staff are all friendly and work incredibly hard. The location isn’t an issue either. I made my way to the light house/playas del ingles and the centre of maspalomas easily (ran and walked). and enjoyed exploring the area. My only comment would be that the food, whilst lovely, was incredibly repetitive. I basically ate the same most days, just different iterations (salad and fish/salad and meat). Would be good to change it up. All in all a perfect week of r&r. Which is all I could have hoped for. Thank you

Pleasant stay - would come again.

I really enjoyed our stay here. Visited for Maspalomas Pride. Hotel is very clean, lovely pool area and rooms are a great standard - Clean, nicely decorated & a comfy bed. Great offering of activities (Aquafit, yoga, sangria making etc). We had all inclusive - Food was fresh & tasty - although not very warm. Same offering almost every day though, then again it’s nice to venture out to eat in restaurants. Cocktails are ok (they come from a machine, and aren’t very strong - you can ask for extra I.e more rum in your Mojito). Location isn’t as bad as what people make out. Reception can call a taxi for you, and one would be there almost straight away. Around €4/5 to the Yumbo or the beach. I would give my review a 5 if it wasn’t for a few things that could easily be fixed. Bottled water was not supplied - never had this experience before on a all inclusive. You had to fill a cup from the cooler. You have to pay for your safety deposit box in your rooms. Pay €1 for a change of beach towel, and there was no atmosphere around the pool. I understand that some people don’t want music blaring by the pool all day, however low-volume or background music would have been nice. We are going to re-book this hotel for Pride 2023.
