Beautiful Santorini

Fabulous little Adults Only Hotel ! Spotlessly clean and modern. Great size rooms and ours (Room 117) had a large terrace. Only a few minutes walk to the beach where you will find an abundance of Restaurants/shops. Loads of choices at Breakfast, something for everyone. Close to the Airport so quick transfer. And the best part....Panos on Reception What a wonderful man. Cannot thank him enough for his help, kindness, knowledge and just being a lovely lovely guy

An excellent hotel and a great base

My wife and I returned from our stay at Hotel Strogili last night. What an excellent place this is. High standards in the rooms. Incrediby clean throughout. Excellent staff in every discipline and a great range of options at breakfast. We had drinks at the pool bar, which were very reasonably priced. Bar snack options were plentiful and looked great! I note what others have said about sun loungers, but we never encountered a problem. The hotel is set back from the beach, which for us was a good thing. Loads of restaurants and coffee shops close by. Excellent (and cheap) local bus service to Fira and on to Oia. This, was our first trip to Santorini. If we return, Hotel Strogili would be hard to beat as our base of choice. Thanks to all

Excellent hotel !

Excellent, excellent, excellent Loved everything! Quiet, Very clean. Welcoming. Lovely pools and pool bar. Polite staff. Great breakfasts. Lovely clean room. Beds made daily and cleaned. I would highly recommend this hotel. I will be back !

Lovely hotel but!

Stayed 14 nights. Room what you would expect would have preferred a closed in shower, water was sometimes not very hot (personal preference)no glass for toothbrushes etc so I bought a couple of plastic ones.No tissues.Just 2 bedside drawers and a wardrobe typical for Greece.The breakfast was fine something for everyone however not enough tables for the amount of guests.My main complaint was the amount of sunbeds.Signs saying don't reserve but they all did every day.You can use the Costa Grand hotel or The Aegean Plaza Hotel.The hotel is in a good spot close to everything Kamari has to offer plenty of lovely restaurants and shops.Bus stop to Oai and Fira which we did.Both very crowded.We had a car and visited Perissa,Pirgos and lots of lovely harbours with fish taverns so worth doing.The beach at Kamari is very tricky to get in and out and I have to say we prefer sand.We do prefer smaller more personal hotels.So not for me.

Outstanding hotel!

We stayed for 10 days in this wonderful hotel in Kamari. Having stayed in a few hotels in the resort in the past this was by far the best. The rooms were immaculate! Breakfast excellent with a good variety. The staff were all friendly. We had room 211 which was excellent with a little view of the sea and a huge balcony. We were never lucky enough to find a sun bed by the pool. ( we are early risers but not 7.30 early !) so we chose to use the pool in other KD hotels in the resort. We also used Belvedere Hotel in Fira one day which was amazing with views across the caldera. Few little things for us would have made the room even more special. Little more storage space, somewhere to hang the towel in the shower room, more hangers in the wardrobe, and somewhere to dry washing on the balcony. Would definitely recommend the hotel, the KD hotel chain and this resort.
