Fabulous

The staff are all so lovely. The rooms are immaculate. Like previous reviews have noted Masaria is not much to look at but is a great base to travel out from. Couldn't fault the hotel although it would have been nice to have a room kept for late check outs. Hopefully will be able to visit this fantastic hotel again one day.

Fantastic Stay!!

We recently returned from a fantastic holiday at the immaculate Kallos Imar Hotel. It was a small boutique hotel (which we preferre) and everything about it was beautifully thought out. Much of its success was down to the wonderful staff. We were welcomed by the manager, George, who was a great help throughout our holiday with advice on visiting the various sights in Santorini and how to get there. Also the hotel receptionist, Sarah, who was so friendly and always willing to help and guide us on what to see and do. They were both so helpful in recommending/booking restaurants, etc. The rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean thanks to our brilliant cleaning lady, Helen, who worked so hard every day to keep it like that. The restaurant at the hotel was really good; as well as breakfast every day we had two evening meals there which were delicious and we were well looked after by Panos and Rena who both served in the restaurant and around the pool. We tried a variety of really good restaurants which were recommended by George and Sarah. The first one was Postalia in Mesalia which was very traditional and friendly, Ouzeri in Fira, Vothonaki which was a ‘proper’ traditional taverna in a beautiful village called Vothonas and on our last night we went to Metaxi Mas which was exceptional and a great end to our holiday. Last but not least, we must mention the owners and creators of Kallos Imar Hotel, Mr. Angelo and Mr. Thomas. They are two of the loveliest people you could wish to meet and so proud of their hotel. They were also the ‘taxi drivers’ for the hotel and would go out of their way to look after you and point out the various sights around Santorini. We wouldn’t hesitate in returning to this fantastic hotel run by wonderful enthusiastic staff … five stars all the way.

True 5* experience

Not a lot to add that previous reviewers haven’t already raved about Beautiful, intimate, spotlessly clean hotel. Staff are incredibly helpful & the blonde receptionist (apologies for not catching her name) organised us 3 excellent trips- a bus tour, a sunset boat cruise & wine tasting Breakfast was a lovely diversion from standard “continental buffet” & “full English BUT the timing of plates coming out was a bit funny on occasion The evening menu is really good- HIGHLY recommend the steak! Happy hour cocktails are always a winner!! However, I would like to draw special praise to the driver who took us to Pyrgos & Kamari, who was so genuinely proud to show off Santorini & genuinely as interested in if we were enjoying the island/did we need anything- he was the star! Thoroughly recommend this hotel for honeymoon/adult getaway Mesaria the village isn’t much, but this hotel is more than worth it

Best hotel, friendliest staff and great service!

This h as to be one of the best hotels I've been to, mainly because of the friendly service but also because of the superior rooms and clean modern decor. Although Messaria isn't top of the destinations to visit in Santorini, it is smack bang in the middle of the island and very close to the airport, meaning one day I could nip over to Kamari (beaches and great bars) and the next nip over to Fira on the opposite side for the beautiful Caldera edge restaurants and sunsets. Buses are regular and easy. Kallos Imar Hotel also kindly offers a taxi service which I used many times. I am already looking to book this exact hotel for next year, where I do hope to again see George, Lila and Rena and the other lovely staff! Not only that but to eat their amazing food. Thanks for making my trip the best!

A fabulous jewel of a hotel

There are not enough good words to describe this hotel. It was simply beautiful, and we were so well looked after by all of the team. The bedroom with balcony was a great space for relaxing in, the pool always had free beds, and there were plenty of cocktails to choose from. George, Sara and the team helped us choose great places to eat, and there were even hotel transfers to make the journey easier. We will be back, and a big thanks too to the wonderful Angelo and Thomas - both of whom showed a passion and love for this place - which makes it really work for their guests too.
