Allt var lika bra! Vid fullboard ingick en vinflaska (inga billiga viner) till 2 personer både på lunch och middag om man ville ha. Plus t.ex Cola Zero, vatten, finkaffe, glass. Bättre än om det hade varit All inclusive. Hur är detta ens möjligt?!? Vi brukar betala samma summa (ca 75000 SEK) för 2 veckor 2-3 ggr per år och vi har beställt royal level ibland. Detta var mycket bättre än det ni kallade Royal level på Kanarieöarna. Mycket bättre! 2 av de 3 a la carte restaurangerna (Nocturne och Immenso) var mycket högre klass än man är van vid utomlands. I Sverige hade det varit White guide/Guide Micheline). Den ordinarie bufférestaurangen var bästa ever. Fint tillagad sund mat. Fantastisk personal! Så en stor eloge till detta hotell!
Drinkar smakade oftast som alkoholfria och var jättedyra men fina. Hotellmanagern gick fram till vårt bord och hälsade på framförallt min sambo, 2 tillfällen. Lämnade sitt visitkort. Stod med handen på bordet och hängde med ”ryggen mot mig”. Väldigt ofint att göra så. Jag tyckte att det kändes oerhört dumt! Dessutom var det jag som betalt resan osv. Vi skämtar om det fortfarande.

Cant recommend this hotel highly enough - Amazing !

We have been travelling to Paphos every November for a lot of years, staying at other 5 star hotels in the area. We also watched the hotel been built and decided to try the Amavi this year, also coinciding with my partners 60th birthday. The hotel is exceptional, from the moment you arrive , its feels very special, it even smells amazing. The room was very well appointed, all with sea view, and crucially the beds comfortable and kept spotlessly clean by a very friendly housekeeping team. Great to have a decent coffee machine (Nespresso) and also a plentiful supply of bottled water, delivered daily. The hotel also has really effective AC, which is totally controlled to suit you own requirements. Breakfast in Ezaria, Buffet restaurant is well organised, spotlessly clean and providing a great choice. You would be really hard pushed not find the type of breakfast that you required. Everything from Fresh Fruits, Yoghurts, Smoothies, nuts, Salads, cheeses, hams etc to full cooked selections and Eggs/Omelettes to order. Coffee also good (Filter Coffee, Cappuccinos, Lattes) which is not always the case even at 5 star hotels we have stayed in the past. Lots of outdoor tables and never waited longer than 5 minutes to secure one. We swapped Dinner for a lunch a few times and whilst the lunch buffet is more limited than that at dinner, there are again great quality options inc great salads, soup, hot options etc. The Buffet in the evening includes themed options and again the quality is great , with plenty of choice. The HB premium option is a great idea , and all meals come with either a couple of beers or a bottle of wine to share . As others have said the wines are good quality, we were happy to see Kolios Winery Persefoni on the included list, along with others from local vineyards. Water and Coffee also included . This arrangement is across the Hotel in any of the four restaurants, which were all open into Mid November as the weather was still warm enough in the evening to dine outdoors. We ate at all three speciality restaurants, and all of them offered a great dining experience, Immenso on the roof offered a great Japanese Asian experience, whilst Fort o Lana offered a Cypriot Mezze dining experience. Nocturne offered a great 7 course tasting menu in a very upmarket environment. Speak to Guest services when you arrive to book these. We arranged, in advance, a private dining experience in Nocturne for a group 8 of us for my partners birthday evening. I was most impressed with the attention to detail for the arrangements of the dinner by the team and the overall service provided to us , friendly and very professional. Thanks to Nikos Mavidis, the Exec Chef, Stavroulla and the rest of the team for making it so special for us. Selene, the cocktail bar was a really nice place to have a pre/post dinner drink with great bands/singers each evening. Prices are not over the top considering you are in a Luxury resort 7 Euros for a glass of local wine, 6.5 Euros for a beer. As with the rest of the hotel the whole of the team are very professional and friendly We really liked the allocated sunbed system, if you can't find sunbeds in your preferred location , you can swap them as they become available. The Pool team really friendly , oh and a free flowing supply of bottled water is great. Overall , the Amavi manages to offer a very high level of service whilst providing a very friendly atmosphere throughout the whole hotel making for a relaxed environment. We had such a great stay, we have already booked our November 2024 trip at the Amavi !! If you are thinking of booking, just book it, can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Perfect stay

Visited for a week ! Most amazing holidays ever. From the moment you enter you can see the 5 stars service from the lobby and front office! Amenities are amazing ! The pool bar out of this world ! The rooms are state of art !The food is amazing at the Ala carte restaurants but the buffet is absolutely delicious first time I can see such a quality at buffet breakfast lunch and dinner ! Special mention to the executive chef dimitrios gkogkas he really knows the element of guests happiness by making amazing food with his team ! Thank you amavi I'll be back for sure !

My Wife and I had a short holiday in this hotel and cannot praise it enough . We have stayed in Paphos on several occasions at the Alexander the Great almost next door and watched the Amavi (Kanika Group ) being built. We decided that we would try it and , if not satisfied , revert back to next door . We were totally smitten with everything in the hotel . The only hiccup was a rude experience at dinner which, when I informed the Manager , Mr.Mavidis , was resolved very discreetly and I was very impressed. Firstly the 5star hotel should be a 6 . It cannot be faulted from any aspect beit cleanliness,politeness of staff , a luxurious feeling and any other aspect one would expect from a top class hotel. We have been fortunate to have stayed in many major hotels in all continents except the Antarctic and the Amavi has , in our opinion, joined what we consider the elite . The staff were superb and were highlighted by the General Manager, Marios Vassiliou , the Manager already mentioned,Nikos Mavidis and others who really led by example in providing the perfect holiday with no reason to complain of anything . We could mention others like Maria Meletidou and Paul on reception who were so helpful. Readers must have gleaned by now that this hotel has achieved for us a near perfect holiday which will be difficult to match . We would advise you of the delightful room we were provided but would not wish to jeopardise our future bookings . Absolutely well done Amavi .

Superb Food and Accommodation.

This was our first stay at the Amavi and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Staff were friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel is beautifully presented throughout. A special mention must go to Wilma from housekeeping on the 3rd floor and Mariana the pool attendant who were extremely attentive and worked hard to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Having coeliac, I was worried as to how my dietary requirements would be met. I advised guest relations but unfortunately this was not initially related to Executive Chef GKOGKAS. Having asked to speak with Chef, it was clear he had not been made aware of my request. Thereafter, A BIG SHOUT OUT TO CHEF AND THE KITCHEN STAFF; where all the food went above and beyond my expectations. Freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. We ate in 3 out of the 4 restaurants with the same experience each time. I can’t thank you and your Team enough Chef - you made my holiday! If you have specific dietary requirements, make sure Chef GKOGKAS is made aware - he’ll meet with you personally to discuss your needs and will certainly ensure you’re catered for.

Truly Amazing.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The rooms & facilities are first class, allocated sunbeds. The Food is world class fine dining, this has been made possible by Head Chef Demetris Gkogkas & his kitchen staff.
