Work as a Tour Representative

Do you want to work with fulfilling our guests' holiday dreams? Do you like working with people from different parts of the world? Then you would fit in as a Tour Representative in one of our many travel destinations.

Job description

As a Tour Representative, you are Apollo's public face and have the primary task of actualize our guests' expectations. You will be there on arrival and departure, at inspirational meetings, excursions and at the service office. You are actively working with sales of our supplementary products. In addition to this, you also manage administrative tasks and have contact with subcontractors and external stakeholders at the destination.

 

Natural sense of service

It is firstly to you that our guests address questions, wishes and crisis situations. You should have a natural sense of service and be able to communicate with different target groups that have different requirements and expectations. You will be an expert on the destination in terms of the country's history, culture and attractions and inspire and share your knowledge to interested guests.

Knowledge requirements

  • 3-year upper secondary education

  • Work experience, at least 1 year. Preferably within service, hotel or restaurant

  • Speak fluently in a Scandinavian language

  • Speak and write fluently in English

  • Driving license B

What does it take to apply?

You love to provide service and are responsive to the wishes of both small and large guests. You dare to make decisions and act on your own. In addition to the knowledge requirements, work experience in the travel industry, service or restaurant is meritorious. It is also a plus if you have documented education or experience in pedagogy. Long-term work abroad, work experience as a youth leader and language skills in any other scandinavian language than your own is also meritorious.
